1. Product introductionWith the rapid development of data communication and IP business, itmakes the telecom connection to be IP-lised. And at the same time, thebasic telecom business such as the traditional telephone business and rentline business are still the main income for the operators. In order tobalance the existed business and the future development, it is required tomodulate TDM business onto data connection. Our product transmitsTDM business over Ethernet.

2. Technology1). Convenient; plug-in, no more complicated setting2). Ethernet interface is auto-adaptive with 10/100M, full/halfduplex, cross or direct connection cable. And also one fastEthernet interface is optional.3). Low transmission delay (according to the network condition,when the free bandwidth is more than 2.8M, the leasttransmission delay will be 2.3ms.)4). adopt PPPOE protocol, have high active resending system,occupy little bandwidth with the least to be 5%.5). Frequency stable, jitter, drift low，meets ITU-T G.823 andITU-T G.82616). Although there are 10% of packets losing, as long as thebandwidth of the resending data is no more than 10%, the linkcan work normally.7). E1 interface be in accordance with G.703.8). Ethernet supports long package up to 1916 bit9). Manage the network and monitor the device by Ethernet.

3. FunctionA) Ethernet side1) Ethernet side of this device is the same as a Ethernet switchwith four Ethernet interfaces, have four Ethernet interfaceswhich are switch able.2) Support long package up to 1916bit3) Ethernet supports 10/100M, full/half duplex auto negotiation,and can control the work mode by the network system.4) Ethernet interface is auto-adaptive with MDI|MDI-x.

B )E1 data side1) The connector of E1 meets the standard of ITU-T G.7032) The E1 signal is modulated onto Ethernet package and will beseparated when the receiving device received the data, andthen will output through E1 interface transparently.3) When the data can not reach in the receiving device normally,then the receiving device will send a requirement of resendingin the data, and the sending device will resend the data when itgets the requirement4) It will send E1 clock signal by marking time label in theEthernet package to the receiving device. And will account thissignal and recover the clock by high-accuracy digital phraselock loop 5) When the data carrying E1 data and clock could not reach tothe receiving device, it will produce one clock in the predictorcircuit as to ensure the E1 clock outputting.

4. Software function1) Each unit has four Ethernet interface as a switch2) Use the windows hyper terminal as the operation interfaceconfigure the IP address and manage the network throughEthernet3) Support Telnet as the operation interface

4) Support ARP protocol and PING (‘< = 1472 bytes’)5) Only need to set one IP address in the whole net connectionand manage all the devices.5. Other functions1) The connection among all the devices can be done by thesoftware or the hardware2) It can be installed and used without other connected devices.
